Oregon!

I have been thinking for a while to start a blog and have finally actually started one! Yay! This last week we went to Oregon with my parents. It was a blast! We started our adventure on August 5. We left around 7 pm and drove until we got to Reno. The truck stop we stopped at had a this sweet truck wash.

If you can see the sign the "a" is on backwards.
We spent the rest of Wednesday (Creed's Birthday!) driving to California and up the coast towards Oregon. After driving some really curvy roads we were all ready to get out of the motor home at the sight of the beach!
My Cute Family! For some reason we all decided to
wear red or purple this day.

Finally the Ocean!!

We took the scenic route through the Humboldt Redwoods State Park. It was Creed's first time, my second, but it was still as amazing as the first. It is a beautiful drive!

WE MADE IT!

We spent the night at one of the RV campsites in the park! We sang happy birthday to Creed and had delicious german chocolate cake. In the morning we finished the drive through the park and made our way to Oregon. We made it to our condos on Thursday night. The view from the condo was breath taking. We saw plenty of whales and seals.
We made it!!
Our view! We were able to see lots of whales from here it
was amazing.
Friday we went to Devil's Punch Bowl. We arrived at low tide so there were not a bunch of whirling waves but it was still cool to see.

Saturday we took a tour of Depoe Bay on our long boards and stopped a cute park. Creed and Tiffany had a swinging contest.

And we are off!

On Sunday we spent most of the day swimming at the condo or playing pool. Later in the day we went for a walk and came across a cool inlet that you hiked down to. Little did we know that it had some pretty sweet tide pools.
I just love this man!
These things look like something out of an alien movie, it
didn't help that we found them inside of a cave that we
went into.

Mussels! There were lots and lots of mussels everywhere.
Sea Anemone! The first time in my life that I have actually
seen a real life, wild one!
Looking in the tide pools! So cool!
Purple sea urchins! Also a first!
Monday was our last day at Depoe Bay. We got up early and went to the tide pools at the Road's End State Park. It was awesome! There were so many star fish and anemones! We say lots of different type of small crabs. On the way back Tiff, Mom, and I got stuck in some deep water and got hit by a couple of waves.

Star Fish!!

Crab type 1! Hermit Crab.

Crab type 2? it had ten legs so...who knows!
Crab type 3! Cute little guy on the beach!
We just got a little wet!
Tuesday we cleaned up the condo and got back in the RV and headed towards Utah. On our way out of Oregon we stopped at the Multnomah Falls. We also got hit by a crazy dust storm in the middle of Oregon.

Inside the beast!
We got home late (or early morning Wednesday) Tuesday night. It was a wonderful break from work. Now we are all ready to start school in a week and a half!
